Halloween:Pumpkin Painting

This is from Halloween 2009. We decided to paint smaller pumpkins and add faces to them.
I set up shop in my garage and let them have at it! Each child selected their paint color of choice. And they really got into this project.

We used tempera paints, which didn't take too long to dry. But I did let them sit over night.
I cut out the face pieces using felt with adhesive backing. I found the templates in a Halloween magazine.

 And they also decorated with pom poms!
Now that's two of the cutest Pumpkins I've ever seen!
