Foto Friday | In a Basket + An Announcement

Welcome to Foto Friday I mean TGIF, right?!

I will start with the announcement. Foto Friday will be moving to my new photography blog Photograph Life beginning next week! I have been thinking about this for a long time, weather or not to start yet another blog just for photography or not. I feel as though the photography link up's needed to separate from this daycare blog. I will not move Wordless Wednesday. I have already started posting over there, so hopefully everyone will pop over and visit and follow me there.

Now on with the featured photo for this week. Last week's theme was "Emotion". Loved the submissions, there were so many interpretations to go with this prompt.

Now look at these happy faces, don't you just love this? I think it's so super cute, and what a perfect image of these three. I love the post processing in this image. This was submitted by Tiaras & Tantrums.

Project 366 Rewind | Week 7

It's time to rewind my week! :)

Sunday-Todd and I made my light box together and this was the first photo taken in it for SHS.

Monday-I received in the mail the My Memories Suite v3 software I won from a blog giveaway. It's what I'm using above.

Tuesday was Valentine's Day and we had a party for the day care children.

Wednesday- My daughter cleaning the kitchen. I tell her to smile and she gives me one of her best facial features, puckered up!

Thursday night Todd cooked Kabob's on the grill.

Friday-The surprise of my life, we became engaged!

Saturday-A note left by my older daughter thanking me for always keeping my grandson.
Very sweet to find!

And that was my week in photos I hoped you enjoyed, I know last week was very special for me! :)

Sunday Fun in Pictures

And here are my interpretations this week:
1. Love

Soo, Friday I became an engaged woman!
2. Duplicated

This is my daughter's comforter.
3. Trending

The iphone is so trending even though I don't own one, however I feel it won't be long before I do.
4. PaperDoes anyone know why I have these lines in my photo. I have been working on this all day and I can't figure it out. I believe it's time to bring my computer in for service. I've change memory cards and programs. The problems only appear after the photo is uploaded to my blog, not during post processing.

My daughter left me this lovely note a couple of weeks ago thanking me for always keeping my grandson. Like I mind, but so sweet of a note.

So this hasn't been an easy one for me. I felt as if I should do something spectacular!

Well, I came short on that. But I have an edit just the same. I practice a lot, but like I say I am a work in progress.

I used Paint the Moon action Urban Delight "Blue Pop" at 100% opacity

I think it give's the photo an overall older feel to it.

Project 366 Rewind | Week 6

Monday, Monday, Monday! Just means back to work...so it's a good thing I love my job! :)

Here are my photos from the week!

Sunday- My grandson and I were served breakfast on the sofa.

Monday- I completed the Valentine treat boxes for my grandson's and my preschool class.

Tuesday-Loved that glowing moon.

Wednesday the children were picking flowers for their moms.

Thursday I finally got a clear shot of a bird, but from a distance.

Friday- Seems everything is popping up out of the garden.

Saturday-My daughter brought me back this camera from her trip to Austin. Love it!
