Good Night Moon | Unit Lapbook

Our unit lapbook this week is Goodnight Moon.
I also found a video for the book at the library.

This is a children's classic bedtime story written by Margaret Wise Brown. It's about a bunny that says goodnight to everything in his room to postpone going to bed.

This is the front of their lapbooks.

This is the inside. The inside has pictures on each side of each thing in the great green room. I added green construction paper to the lapbook to give the feel of the green room.

The Moon wheel each child had to color the dark side and we went over the moon phases.
There are three mini books in their lapbook.

On the right is the Goodnight Moon ABC's.   The second book is a cut and paste of Hey Diddle Diddle.

The Last book is a counting book of what they saw in the Great Green Room.

I hung these up where the children can see. I point to each word as I read to them and stop at the picture for them to say together. fun!
