Spring Bird Unit

Today we began our "Bird Unit" by reading the book Beaky. Love this book and it kept the children very engaged.

An egg tumbled to the rain forest floor and out popped Beaky! He was uncertain of what kind of creature he was but very determined to find out.

After reading Beaky went over our lap book and then began the unit curriculum.

Learning Warm Colors. Color the bird house Red, Yellow, and Orange. 

 Learning Cool Colors. Color the bird house Blue, Purple, and Green.

Although we completed our Letter Bb, I consider this reinforcing this letter.

Count the leaves on the tree and circle the correct number in the box.
