4th of July Star Wands

This is the second year we've made these and they love them!

        Supplies Used:
  • red, white, and blue stars (I cut these with cardstock) different sizes
  • red, white, and blue, wire star garland (purchased at Dollar Tree)
  • craft dowel rods (from Wal-Mart .97)
  • glue
  • pop dots
  • scissors

We used one blue star, two white stars, and two red stars for this craft.

They began by gluing the stars together. Red on white, then white on blue.
Then they flipped it over to add the dowel rod.
Added a pop dot on each side of the rod to hold it in place and added another white star and red star on top. The stars stick to the pop dots as well.

Then added the garland by wrapping it around the dowel rod.

Great idea. I'm gonna try this project next week during our July 4th theme. I like the one w stars on top of other stars. Thanks.
