Farm Week | Big Red Barn

First today we read

Big Red Barn

By: Margaret Wise Brown

This is a rhyming book that tells all about animals that live in the big red barn.

We also read our Farm House shape book.

This is the Farm Unit lap book. Inside has pictures of animals thst could live in a barn, along with an emergent reader book 'At the Farm' and a Farm Pattern work worksheet.

Here we worked on animal sorting. Who lives on the farm and who does not live on the farm.

Here they colored a farm and traced the letter F.

And that was our day.

Thanks for stopping by,

Lori

Farm Week Unit | Farm House Shape Book

Who Lives in the Barn?

This week we begin our farm unit, farm theme. Always fun! I printed this farm house shape book from kidsparkz.com and laminated it. It's a simple repetitive and simple text book telling who lives in the barn.

I have one for each child. When the unit is completed, they can bring the book home for their parents to read to them.
