I have a few more pictures to add to our Natural Play Area.
Here we built two benches for the children to sit on. It also doubles
as a nose picker as well. Hehe!
The next photo we added two more stumps low to the ground to encourage the tots to join in.
Here we added two balance beams on the ground. Only one is pictured.
This is really working on their gross motor skills. The four years olds have it now, but at first
they were slipping off.
Now this tot has found a new purpose for the stumps!
Hint ! Hint !
He had a blast!
He was saying COOK!

Love the natural aspects. Thanks for visiting my WW.
Thanks for stopping by here as well!
Great natural play area…. how fun!!
I love the natural playgound. It keeps getting better and better! It reminds me of the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, they have a completely natural playground, compete with slide.
Thanks everyone!
Amy, You see we added the balance beams. I'm not sure how they look at Sugar Grove, but this is our version. Thanks for the great idea!

I'm a big believer in the value of outdoor play in a natural environment so I'm loving all your natural elements. It looks inviting, exciting and a magical place to play.

I LOVE those log climbing steps. Those would be so fun at home or at my daughter's school. And that bench is just amazing. Need to find someone with a chainsaw!!
Thanks for joining the outdoor play link up.
What a great natural playground!
I like your log benches! I'm working on a natural playspace myself.
