Our first craft is a Pine Cone Christmas Tree. They love Pine Cones and this was simple and working on those fine motor skills.
First gather supplies.
I received a box of craft supplies from craftprojectideas.com, and this large bag of pom poms were in the box, all different sizes and colors. Which made it perfect for this craft.
pine cones
pom poms
glue
tot trays
They started by adding glue around the pine cone and placing pom poms on.
End it by adding a large sparkly pom pom on top!
Simple and very enjoyable craft they can take home and display on the mantle, shelf, or in their bedroom.
Make sure to visit Cachey Mama's Classroom to read my Guest post on how to make a Reindeer Craft.
Before you leave make sure to enter my giveaway for a Chalk Board Roll Up Mat from an Etsy seller. Just in time for Christmas giving.
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Lori

Oooh, we started doing this but haven't quite finished them yet. We stuck the pine cones in small pots to look more like a plant/tree.
That's a great idea Carrie!
I wish I would have thought of the pots.
We do an activity advent calendar too and today we are off to the craft store to stock up on crafty, holiday supplies. My DD saw this post and added poms poms to her shopping list. Thanks for the inspiration!
