Holiday Kid Craft Link Up | Week 11

Welcome to Week 11 of the Holiday Kid Craft Link Up!

The idea of the Holiday Kid Craft Link Up is to link up any Fall, Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter, New Years, any holiday or seasonal craft from now until the end of December.
  • The craft must be kid friendly
  • Do not link up your giveaways
  • Submit the url of your post, not the blog's main page
  • Include my button if you wish or link to me please
  • Visit other blogs, this way we can all learn a new craft for our kids
  • Your kids craft can be a new craft or one from your archives
  • Please link to where you found the craft from if it's not your original

Today we are sharing Hanukkah. I know it's not here yet but this craft is from last year and never was posted. We had a good time learning about a different type of Holiday Celebration.

I read the book Hanukkah by: Miriam Nerlove
This books provides a brief history of Hanukkah. The text is simple and rhymes and was very helpful in teaching a little bit of holiday traditions to the kids.

First we did a color sheet of a Menorah.

We made the Star of David to hang on the tree.

Made hand print Menorah's
I found this on a blog, but can't remember who's. Sorry.

We made Latkes and learned to play Dreidel .
We had a lot of fun!

Before you leave be sure to enter my giveaway going on right now!
Chalk Board Roll Up Mat Ends Monday 12/05.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

I love seeing some Hanukkah crafts. I would love it if you would share them at my sharing party at http://craftymomsshare.blogspot.com/2011/12/sharing-saturday-8.html. Thank you!!

I don't see a link to share anything here. I'm guessing it must be down right now? I'll check back later.

What a great idea for a linky party! I plan on linking up later this week with a craft! I found you at Cachey Mama's blog, she linked up your awesome guest post on my Thrifty Thursday Linky Party. http://www.playingwithwords365.com/2011/11/thrifty-thursday-linky-party-1/

We made very similar star of David ornaments that I'm posting about tomorrow, actually. Your crafts look great; I like the handprint menorah. Have you ever read The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming by Lemony Snicket? It's fantastic.
