Foto Friday | The S Curve

Last week's theme for "Pattern's" had really nice interpretations! I loved going through each and everyone's photos to see what they came up with.

Here's a photo that was submitted in which a pattern was added to the photo...

Hope from A. Hutchinson Photography shared her photo of a flower she calls 'Flawed" with us. She added a pattern/texture to her photo, which I never thought of. This made a perfect picture to me. Quite beautiful and well done!

This week's theme is The S Curve and here is what I came up with...
Yep,it's an old mail box post from down my street. And it's crooked, like most of them on one side of our narrow street, looks like they have been hit by vehicles.

From what I've read about The S Curve in photography is that composition is key. I don't think I nailed that one on the head. But I'm a work in progress. :)

Now I'm looking forward to seeing your interpretations for this week!
Remember it doesn't have to match the theme, just link up, grab my button, and visit other blogs.

First, thank you so much for the surprise! You bless me with this honor!

Now...nice depiction of the prompt. I think you captured the curve quite nicely!

I agree with Lisa, this was a really fun theme. I am looking forward to "books", you have no idea how many books I have! Fun, fun, fun!

May I suggest "Details" as a prompt; for me it means to crop the photo to focus on the minute details of your subject in almost a macro sense ...huh, I don't know. I am just enjoying this so.

Blessings,
Andrea

I like your S curve! Clever. I couldn't think of ANYTHING this week!! Mine lacks all kinds of inspiration, but I'll do better next week :) I thought of a theme idea for you - Machines. (having a little boy in the house, means we LOVE our machines). You don't have to use it if you don't want.

Have a great weekend!!!
