5 A Day Books: Weather

5 a day books

We have been a little behind here, but rest assured, we have been reading!
If you would like to know more about the 5 A Day book challenge go HERE
There are so many wonderful books out there for children, and as mom's and teachers it is our duty to introduce the world to them through books. And the joy of reading can come shining through reading every single day!

Here's what we are reading this week!

Clifford And The Big Storm
by: Norman Bridwell
Don't you just love Clifford the Big Red Dog? In this book Clifford and Emily Elizabeth are visiting her grandmother when a hurricane strikes and Clifford knows just how to keep Emily Elizabeth safe.

Cloudy Day Sunny Day
by: Donald Crews
In this book it doesn't matter the weather, it still provides plenty opportunities for fun and entertainment! No more being bored here!

The Snowy Day
by: Anna Milbourne and Elena Temporin
An Usbourne series book, our library didn't have any of these! I own this one and love it!
This is a perfect introduction to Winter for children. They sit so quietly and listen or maybe because we hardly get snow here. But they have always loved this one.

I Can Read About
Weather
by: Robyn Supraner
This book covers all weather types in a very easy read text where children can comprehend.

 Rainy Day!
by:Patricia Lakin
This book is about four crocodiles who find ways to keep busy on a rainy day! I figured I would add a little humor in to their week!
